I don't disagree that it can be fun to analyze stuff, but it doesn't make it any less bullshit. We like to assign meaning to things that don't necessarily have meaning just for the hell of it. That's why I like deconstructionism, because nothing has a set meaning.Classic Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11045568318901346184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6480511620442233365.post-41506217957400220172011-04-03T23:26:44.994-05:002011-04-03T23:26:44.994-05:00cuz ur girlcuz ur girlRobert Langhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04330474824022964199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6480511620442233365.post-49493117702811442132011-04-03T14:37:03.207-05:002011-04-03T14:37:03.207-05:00I disagree. I think the key to enjoying doing it is to try to see the work from as many perspectives as possible and not get too bogged down in one opinion. That is just closed mindedness and makes analysis no fun. I think the author's opinion does matter (to some extent) but the best part is making your own interpretation which allows you to express your creativity by examining the product of someone else's creativity. <br />You lit class has some good points, sure Edna was selfish but she was also desperate to be free in a society that said she couldn't. I just love The Awakening.jennihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07008213060648210908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6480511620442233365.post-34952471357799780742011-04-03T01:52:11.812-05:002011-04-03T01:52:11.812-05:00On snowman art:
