There's no way people would suspect him. I mean, a serious amount of digging and they could probably figure it out, but that's part of the suspension of belief you engage in when you watch movies, specifically ones like Batman or Superman where there's hidden identity involved. Remember that one prick figured Bruce out in TDK. There's probably people out there who suspected him, but it's been irrelevant for years. And Bruce Wayne could have died at any time during the months-long event.

-EClassic Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11045568318901346184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6480511620442233365.post-68204949111916998262012-07-26T13:54:20.705-05:002012-07-26T13:54:20.705-05:00http://geektyrant.com/news/2012/7/23/nightwing-fan...http://geektyrant.com/news/2012/7/23/nightwing-fan-film-inspired-by-the-dark-knight-rises.html
LolClassic Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11045568318901346184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6480511620442233365.post-42397470626497950192012-07-26T13:51:04.005-05:002012-07-26T13:51:04.005-05:00TDKR to TDK standards*TDKR to TDK standards*Classic Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11045568318901346184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6480511620442233365.post-53800216597157518622012-07-26T13:49:52.501-05:002012-07-26T13:49:52.501-05:00Actually Eliot, I think you did a good job express...Actually Eliot, I think you did a good job expressing opinion in this one. As an aspiring movie critic, I've hated almost every single criticism people have thrown at TDKR. It all just feels so fucking nit picky to the extreme. The only one I even sort of agreed with was that John Blake guessed Batman's identity, but that's more weird in the fact that absolutely no one else could. As I've been pretty vocal in saying, I think The Dark Knight was actually the weakest of the trilogy, though still totally rad! It was a really really cool movie on the surface, and definitely has a lot of replay value based on its edginess and awesome action sequences, but if you think about it, it has way more gaping plot holes that does TDKR. I don't know why people think they need to hold TDK to TDKR standards, and I don't know why people are bothered by the lack of a Joker, considering TDK tied that up about as well as they possibly could without killing him off, which, considering what source material you're drawing from, may or may not be accurate. Also, they wanted to leave that possibility open and they had no way of knowing Heath would die. Bane is a more logical conclusion to the telling of the Batman tale anyway, canon-wise, and fuck people who say this movie was overambitious and unrealistic. It's a fucking superhero movie, for one, and it's about as realistic as it can get for portraying a FICTIONAL event that has no real life parallel. But yeah, I think that's all I have to say right now...Oh, also, that symbol John Blake kept chalking is Nightwing's logo so...Nightwing. He'd be Nightwing. Which makes sense, because he does replace Batman. It just makes the whole "I'm Robin, look at me" thing that much sillier. THAT'S MY ONE SERIOUS COMPLAINT WITH THIS MOVIE WHICH MEANS OVERALL IT'S PRETTY FUCKING COOL.

-ClassicClassic Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11045568318901346184noreply@blogger.com
